CCC Bartender Automation Service
General Information
The CCC Bartender Automation Service is a service provided to allow printing of labels from centralized sources such as Lab Management Systems. The CCC Provides the service at a low cost per year to streamline and enhance label printing.
Bartender Enterprise Automation is the current software used to provide this service.

NOTE: If you are looking for a product to create and print labels from individual machines, Bartender Professional is a viable solution. Contact cancer-it@osumc.edu for assistance on contacting the vendor for price quotes.

If your staff use a single label template (Or two Templates) and you want to printer from anywhere on the OSUWMC network
Pricing and Licensing
The Bartender Automation Service is priced at $135 per year per physical printer. This includes the license, support, and unlimited print jobs.
Label Management
Cancer IT will work with your team on getting started with Bartender on how to create label templates, creating the automation job(s), and testing. Label template management is the responsibility of a label manager(s) as designated by the area interested in the service.
Support
Cancer IT is responsible for support of the automation service and if at any time you encounter issues with printing via the service you can open a ticket via OSUWMC eServices to contact our team for assistance.
For Cancer Center Supported users, the Bartender application used by theLabel Manager(S) ais supported by Cancer IT. You can open a ticket via OSUWMC eServices to contact our team for assistance.
For areas outside of Cancer Center support you can open a ticket via OSUWMC eServices to contact your support team for assistance.
Supported Printers
While most current in support label printers will work with Bartender, we recommend Zebra printers for use in the Bartender Automation Service. Zebra printers are reliable, have a wide array of media support, and work with media for extreme cold storage needs. Cancer IT can help in identifying a printer model that will fit your need.
NOTE: Any printer used with this service must be capable of network connectivity (wired is best)
