CAMELOT

Training Opportunities

CAMELOT has several exciting opportunities for you!

  1. SEEKING MENTORS: We have opportunities to mentor area High School, OSU Undergraduate, and Kenyon College students. Our programs are listed here. With CAMELOT opportunities, the salary of the student is paid for by the CCC. If you are interested in mentoring a student, please complete our brief survey: https://redcap.link/2026CAMELOT
*See more information on the "Become a CAMELOT Mentor" page on the left side of the screen.

  2. Ready to take your research on the road? Imagine spending up to eight weeks embedded in a leading cancer center — building new collaborations, learning new techniques, and bringing fresh ideas back to OSUCCC. That opportunity is here. CAMELOT’s Postdoctoral and Graduate Trainee Exchange Program is seeking an OSUCCC lab interested in leveraging a new or existing partnership with another cancer center by sending a postdoctoral or graduate trainee on a 3 to 8‑week research exchange (timing is flexible). Partner institutions may include - but are not limited to - Huntsman Cancer Institute, Duke Cancer Institute, UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center, with others considered upon approval.
Thanks to a $10,000 gift from a private donor, matched by CCC/CAMELOT, this program will fully cover travel and accommodations for the trainee. Our donor — motivated by the loss of a beloved family member to metastatic cancer — underscored the power of collaboration, noting that “by helping to build research teams that span across institutes, CAMELOT embodies how partnerships help to find solutions.”
If your lab is interested in expanding its scientific network and investing in trainee development through cross-institutional collaboration, this is your chance to make it happen.
