Training Opportunities
CAMELOT has several exciting opportunities for you!
- SEEKING MENTORS: We have opportunities to mentor area High School, OSU Undergraduate, and Kenyon College students. Our programs are listed here. With CAMELOT opportunities, the salary of the student is paid for by the CCC. If you are interested in mentoring a student, please complete our brief survey: https://redcap.link/2026CAMELOT
- EXCHANGE PROGRAM: We are seeking a lab that is interested in utilizing a new or existing partnership with another cancer center by hosting or sending a postdoc or graduate trainee for an 8-week research exchange program. Examples of partner cancer centers include but are not limited to Huntsman Cancer Institute, Duke Cancer Institute, UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, and University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center.
CAMELOT and partnering institutions will cover the cost of travel and accommodations.
We are excited to announce that CAMELOT has received a $10,000 gift from a private donor which will support the Postdoctoral and Graduate Trainee Exchange Program. Matching funds will be provided from CCC/CAMELOT. Our donor is like many of us with a personal story about cancer: a beloved family member died young from metastatic disease. They know first-hand the value of research and especially learning from each other, stating "by helping to build research teams that span across institutes, CAMELOT embodies how partnerships help to find solutions.”
