CAMELOT

Grant Writing Clubs

We are offering two complementary grant writing support options designed to meet trainees at various stages of proposal development and career progression.

Option 1: External Grant Editing and Direct Proposal Support provided by Bouvier Grant Group. This option provides individualized, expert editing and strategic feedback on grant applications. Support focuses on strengthening clarity, structure, and competitiveness of proposals through direct interaction with experienced grant editor.

Best suited for:

  • Trainees preparing R01, advanced K, or strong F proposals.
  • Applicants with a well-developed draft or resubmission
  • Trainees seeking polished, external critique rather than instructional coursework.
  • Investigators working independently or with established mentorship teams.

Format: Remote, individualized editing and consultation

Level: Advanced/proposal-ready

Option 2: In-House K Grant Writing Club. This in-house program offers intensive, structured grant writing experience with in-person meetings, guided writing milestones, and active participation from the trainee’s primary mentor. The program emphasizes foundational grant writing skills, proposal logic, and alignment of training goals with long-term career development.

Best suited for:

  • Trainees pursuing K awards and selected F awards.
  • Applicants new to grant writing or early in the proposal development process.
  • Trainees who benefit from direct instruction and accountability
  • Applicants seeking mentor-integrated feedback and structured timelines.
