Mentorship matters — and CAMELOT celebrates it

CAMELOT Mentor Recognition Program: Mentorship is part of the OSUCCC's and CAMELOT’s mission, and each year we are proud to recognize the time, commitment, and impact of our mentors. Each September, CAMELOT celebrates the vital contributions of our mentors through our annual Mentor Recognition Program.

About the Program: All CAMELOT mentors receive a thank‑you letter from program leadership, and new mentors are welcomed with a CAMELOT T‑shirt.

We also recognize exceptional commitment through two annual awards, announced at the Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) each October:

• Mentor of the Year – selected by CAMELOT and honored with a certificate, CAMELOT ¾‑zip pullover, and a $1,000 lab award
• CAMELOT 5x Mentorship Award – recognizes mentors who have supported five (and every additional five) mentees with a $1,000 lab award

Thank you to our mentors for their dedication to training and supporting the next generation of cancer researchers! We are deeply grateful for the dedication and leadership our mentors provide to trainees across all career stages. Their commitment plays a critical role in shaping the next generation of cancer researchers.
