Reporting

 

The Ohio State University is dedicated to protecting the rights, welfare, and safety of its research participants. The university encourages any person acting in good faith to report suspected or actual wrongful conduct (whether arising from action or omission) associated with human subjects research.

 

1. Report a Human Subjects Concern

    • Contact information is provided for the Office of Responsible Research Practices (ORRP), the Institutional Review Board (IRB), and the 24-hour Anonymous Reporting Line

 

2. Report a Privacy Concern

    • Contact information is provided for the Medical Center, OSU Physicians (OSUP), and the colleges of Dentistry, Nursing, and Optometry.

 

3. University Whistleblower Policy, 1.40

    • The Ohio State University encourages all faculty, staff, students, and volunteers, acting in good faith, to report suspected or actual wrongful conduct. The university is committed to protecting individuals from interference with making a protected disclosure and from retaliation for having made a protected disclosure or for having refused an illegal order as defined in this policy.
