The office takes a constructive, proactive, and facilitative approach to research compliance. ORNC supports the OSUCCC, its investigators, and staff in their cancer research endeavors while operating within local, state, and federal regulations and institutional policies. The office provides consultations along with various tools and resources, including the following:

• Guidance on navigating complex regulatory processes and requirements.
• Support for compliance-related questions, concerns, and responses to events.
• A centralized repository of relevant laws, policies, and best practices.
• CCC customized guidance documents, such as Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and tip sheets.
• Assistance with developing Data Protocols:

• Facilitate the completion of Research Agreements
  • Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
