Guidelines for Backup Freezer Use:

1. You must submit an online request to notify us of backup freezer usage and your plan to fix or replace your freezer soon. Use this link:  https://ccc.osu.edu/sop

2. All material in a backup freezer must be labeled with the lab or group name.

3. Backup freezers will remain unlocked.

It is the responsibility of the PI and laboratory staff to monitor the temperature of the freezer and to take action when necessary.
