Mail Delivery for CCC Members - CCC/Wiseman, TRF, BRT, and PaRC
CCC/Wiseman and TRF
Protocol Overview:
- Central Receiving delivers mail parcels/packages directly to labs. This includes orders for supplies, reagents, and most things ordered by labs. If a package is late or you have any questions, please contact Central Receiving. https://busfin.osu.edu/central-receiving
- Mail envelopes are delivered to 1st floor CCC/Wiseman and Tzagournis mail areas by Central Receiving on a regular basis. The CCC Space, Operations, and Projects (SOP) team sometimes delivers USPS packages from the Doan Hall mailroom (1st floor near elevators), but most packages are delivered by Central Receiving.
- Tzagournis: Mail envelopes are delivered to the mail tubs on 1st floor near elevators, which are organized by lab (please contact Dawson Stewart <Dawson.Stewart@osumc.edu> to update lab members names on mail tubs).
- CCC/Wiseman: Mail envelopes are delivered to the lab members in organized mailbox (alphabetically, by last name) on 1st floor Wiseman near the entry door to 12th
NOTE:
- It is ultimately the responsibility of the lab or individual staff/faculty to go over to the Doan Hall mailroom to grab their USPS mail if there is an urgent need to have something sooner. Mail delivery boxes are marked in the Doan Hall mailroom for Wiseman Hall on the left side in box labeled with address, and Tzagournis packages are on right side in box labeled with address.
BRT
- BRT mail for CCC members is managed by the building coordinator. The SOP team is not responsible for the BRT mail, but we are happy to assist if needed.
PaRC
- Pelotonia Research Center mail is managed by Office of Research building coordinators. The CCC’s Space, Operations, and Projects team is not involved. The process is noted below.
- PaRC building coordinators will be placing a white table in each floor's break room area (on the backside of your kitchenette) on the northwest corner of each floor 2-5. All package deliveries - twice daily - will be placed on that table. It is your lab's responsibility to check the table for any deliveries - both regular and cold - you may have received. Again, if you are expecting a bulk or cold-package delivery to our building, someone from your lab must be present to retrieve it from the table and store when/where appropriate; this responsibility does NOT fall on building staff.
