Welcome New Hires
Welcome to the Comprehensive Cancer Center! We’ve compiled some helpful information and links as you navigate through your new role in the CCC. We invite you to share with us a sense of pride in the Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCC) and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) as we work together toward the achievement of our overall goals. It is our hope that you will continue to grow both personally and professionally through your experiences with us.
- OSU will issue your name.# user ID and OSU email address (name.number@osu.edu)
- OSUMC will issue your medical center username (abcd### and email address)
- Please forward your OSU name.# email address (ex: smith.####@osu.edu) to your Med Center email address (ex: john.smith@osumc.edu) to ensure you receive all messages.
- You can do this by logging into https://my.osu.edu/ and selecting “Change Email Delivery.” Please note that if you do not forward your OSU name.# email address to your Med Center email, you are responsible for checking both emails! The Med Center email is where both the CCC and the Med Center will send communications, so you do not want to miss those important emails.
- To activate your medical center username
- Go to https://my.osu.edu/
- Log in using the medical center username and OSU name.# password.
- Once logged in you may be prompted to reset the password for both the medical center and OSU name.# account.
- Going forward, the medical center account and OSU name.# account will have the same password. Once this step is done you should be able to access your medical center email and other systems under this medical center account and new password. All HR communications will be sent to your medical center email.
- For access that already exists (you already have a Medical Center ID and have activated your account) and may have only been modified, the password has not been changed.
- Please complete training requirements that are the most suited for your role by the respective deadlines.
- Workday Inbox and Onboarding Portal: When you have your digital identity (name.# or medical center ID), you can log in to Workday and see onboarding items assigned to you. Workday Log-In: https://www.myworkday.com/osu/d/home.htmld
