Content for Naming Guidelines and Signature for Publications

1) When you first reference our organization in speaking or writing, use:
The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute

The full names “Arthur G. James” and “Richard J. Solove” should never be split on two different lines.

2) On second reference, use:
The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute

3) On third and subsequent references, use:
OSUCCC – James

When you use the abbreviated name, you will need to reference it as “(OSUCCC – James)” after the first name reference mentioned above in point #1.

If you are referencing the organization when speaking or writing in an internal or local context, you may use:
The James

4) When referencing the building, use:
The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute or The James OSUCCC – James Logo
